Ritual Geology draws on the mysteriousness of the Australian landscape and anomalies of the natural environment as a space of radical geological evolution, history and mythology. The artists act as explorers creating fantastical pieces inspired by the Australian wilderness. With an emphasis on materiality, Ritual Geology embraces mediums with a local geographical history. From opals and gold to fossils and clay, the artists actively engage with their natural surroundings and imaginations.
